A fire Monday afternoon south of Paxton destroyed a utility shed. The property site was at 90 N and 2280 E Road. Paxton Fire responded just before 1 pm. The shed and its contents were destroyed. A spokesperson said a burn barrel nearly may have been the cause. The wind was also a factor.
