One killed in I-65 crash in Indiana

A 25-year-old Lafayette, IN man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Jasper County, IN. Timothy McHenry was identified by the Jasper County Coroner’s Office. Indiana State Police reported a car was side-swiped by another car with the first vehicle spinning out of control and then rear-ending a pickup truck. The car then bounced off a cable barrier and was hit on the driver’s side by yet another car. One of two occupants in that first car was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The second occupant was taken to Riverside Hospital in Kankakee before being air-lifted to Loyola Medical Center. The interstate was closed for about 4-hours.
