Oklahoma driver cited after Iroquois County accident

A two-vehicle accident a week ago (Monday) in Iroquois County resulted in one driver ticketed for failure to yield.  44-year-old Blake Clifton of Perkins (OK) was westbound on County Road 100 N.  Sheriff's Police report Clifton hit a northbound vehicle driven by 36-year-old Tyler Rieches of Milford.  No injury was reported.

Two disturbances led to arrests in Watseka and Hoopeston.  29-year-old David Richmond of Watseka was arrested by Watseka Police for aggravated domestic battery and Violating an order of Protection.  Officers were called to the 1000-block of W. Newell Street just before noon Thursday.  In Hoopeston -- police were called to the 700-block of S. 2nd Avenue for a disturbance.  50-year-old Mark Hewitt of Hoopeston was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.
