A crash between a semi tractor-trailer and an SUV injured a motorist from New Mexico. It happened on Saturday in Kentland. at U. S. 41 and Princeton Parkway. The Newton County Sheriff's Office was called to the crash when the semi tractor-trailer driven by 76-year-old Joseph Shouse of Kentland washit while waiting to make a turn.  An SUV driven by 25-year-old Michael Guebara of New Mexico hit the back of the trailer. First responders found Guebara trapped when they arrived. He had to be extricated from his SUV. He was air-lifted to an Illinois hospital. His condition was unknown.
