New COVID-19 cases confirmed in Iroquois, Ford, Kankakee, Vermilion Counties

Vermilion County’s Public Health Department reported (Monday) a total of 76 confirmed COVID-19 cases. There were three more positive cases confirmed, one in their 60s, one in their 40s, and one in their 20s.
The County Health Department said it had 24 active cases, two were hospitalized and 22 were isolated at home. Fifty have been released from isolation, and two have died.
 
Iroquois County Public Health officials reported six new cases of the virus Monday. The county now totals 168 cases, five have passed away. The latest cases include four males (in their 20’s, 30’s, 50’s and 60’s). The two females are in their 50’s and 60’s. Ford County Public Health Monday reported three new confirmed cases, females in their 30’s and 40’s and a male in his 80’s. Ford County now has 40 confirmed cases.

The Kankakee County Public Health officials report 10 new COVID-19 cases during the holiday weekend. There are now 1,383 cases; No deaths were added. The fatality count is at 63.

Illinois Department of Public health officials reported 614 new cases. There were six additional deaths. The state count for confirmed cases is 147,865, with 7,026 deaths.
