The Kankakee Branch of the NAACP welcomes the public to hear from legislative candidates (Tuesday) at the Kankakee Public Library. The 5:30 pm event will feature candidates for the 79th District House seat and the Senate seat for the 40th District.

Kankakee Chapter President Theodis Pace said COVID-19 restrictions will be in place, so seating is limited. A Zoom link will provide a live-feed and the NAACP website will also provide a link.

A second forum next Tuesday (10-13) will feature the Republican and Democratic candidates for Circuit Court Clerk IN Kankakee County.
