The rising positivity rates during this resurgence of COVID-19 are anything but favorable.

The Region 6 positivity is 13 percent. That’s where Iroquois and Ford County sit along with Champaign and Vermilion County. Individually, Iroquois County is at 19.6%

Region 7 is Kankakee and Will County, along with Kane and DuPage counties. Region 7 positivity (Friday) is at 18.6 That’s up from 18.5 on Thursday. Kankakee County’s rate did drop slightly from 19.2 to 18.8, Will County’s rate showed a little bit of an upward tick to 18.5% from 18.3.
