Meth Dealer gets 3 plus years in prison

A Hoopeston meth dealer was sentenced to 42-months in prison following a plea agreement in Livingston County Court. 29-year-old Coty Morgeson was given credit for 104 days in the county jail. He’ll also serve another two years probation, once released. He also has a pending meth possession charge in Vermilion County. Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress said Morgeson and 54-year-old Stephanie Solis, also of Hoopeston, were arrested in the parking lot of a gas station in Pontiac in May (of 2020). Both individuals were charged with felonies of unlawful delivery.
