A second death in as many days in Kankakee County from coronavirus.  Health officials now reporting 74 deaths since the pandemic counting began.  Twenty-two new positive cases were reported Thursday; there's now 2,934 total cases on record.  More younger individuals are testing positive.  There have been 30 teenagers among the latest positive tests and seven persons have been under age 13.

Livingston County has had another person die of the virus. It was a male in his 50'S.  Nine new positive cases were reported Thursday by the County Health Department. As of Thursday 10/8, Livingston County reports 481 individuals have tested positive. 

Iroquois County Public Health reported five new confirmed cases Thursday.  Ford Conty added four new cases.
