A body found Wednesday morning in Kankakee is identified as 49-year-old Ruth Collins.  The Kankakee woman had been reported mising October 1.  The County Coroner's Office identified the body Thursday. 

Kankakee Police reported the discovery while they were searching for a reported missing person.  The discovery was made in the Soldier Creek tunnrl, under the 400-block of N. East Street.
