Iroquois, Kankakee Counties each jump by 21 in COVID-19 cases

After recording two new coronavirus deaths Monday, raising the county total to 65 who have died from the virus, Kankakee County Public Health officials then reported 21 new confirmed positive cases on Tuesday. There’s now 1702 cases on record.

Iroquois County also added 21 new cases yesterday, with 238 confirmed cases. Three other probable cases has 241 total cases having been recorded. Vermilion County Public Health also had a single-day record of 14 new cases. McLean County added 11 new cases.

Illinois Public Health recorded 1.076 new cases Tuesday with 30 additional deaths.

In Indiana…Newton, Jasper, White and Tippecanoe Counties recorded new cases too. There were 17 new ones in Tippecanoe County, two in White and one each in Jasper and Newton.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 809 new cases and the total death-count is 2,725.
