Iroquois: Farmland Assessment Review August 20

The Iroquois County Farmland Assessment Review Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 20, 2020 in Watseka. The 2 pm meeting is in the County Board Room at the Administrative Center.

The subject of this meeting will be:
CERTIFICATION OF ADJUSTED 2021 FARMLAND VALUES
1) The 2021 Equalized Assessed Value (EAV) per acre of cropland for each productivity index (PI),
2) The 2021 proposed county average EAV per acre of cropland, and
3) The 2021 proposed county average EAV per acre for all farmland.

The proposed 2021 average equalized assessed value per acre of cropland is $367. The proposed equalized assessed value per acre of all farmland is $206.

Action taken by the Farmland Assessment Review Committee after public input may affect the 2021 farmland assessment for taxes payable in 2022.
