A 70-year-old Burbank man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Iroquois County. Frank Horn was northbound on I-57 near Gilman when his car left the roadway, hit a fence and a tree before coming to rest. Horn was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Bill Cheatum.

State Police said a passenger, 79-year-old Joyce Dahl of Oak Lawn, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident happened just past noon.
