Illinois National Guard Soldiers head to California to fight wildfires

Six Illinois National Guard Soldiers out of Peoria, plus a helicopter, are heading to California to help deal with massive wildfires raging across the state. The soldiers left on Saturday.
The CH-47 Chinook Helicopter can carry personnel and equipment. That includes a bucket that holds up to 2,000 gallons of water. More than 90 fires are being tracked in the western part of the country.
