Governor JB Pritzker’s Rebuild Illinois construction program includes a six-year, $21.3 billion IDOT construction plan announced Tuesday. It includes building or rebuilding more than 3300 miles of roads and 8 million square feet of bridge deck. The governor was in downstate Collinsville yesterday, saying “these challenging times have not weakened us, they’re making us stronger. This is reinforcing the greatness of Illinoisans.”
