The Illinois High School Association is pressing the pause button on winter sports. The organization said the temporary halt to activities is to maintain compliance with the governor’s COVID-19 orders that take effect today (Friday). The IHSA is seeking more input from the Illinois Department of Public Health before making any future decisions.
