The IHSA Board of Directors has an update meeting scheduled for 1 pm today (Monday).  Assistant Executive Director Matt Troha says it's difficult to forecast if it will produce any official action, or will just be discussion. 

Several school districts have taken official action, voting to not play high school basketball this winter.  Others have been holding out, waiting to see if there's any further guidelines from the IHSA or the State Public Health Department.  Several school leaders have also signed on to a letter submitted to the Governor's office asking for current restrictions to be relaxed.
