In response to increasing number of COVID-19 cases, and for the safety of patients and staff, some area hospitals are returning to strict visitor guidelines. Check with hospital personnel in your communities for updated information. Morris Community Hospital had restrictions in place effective Saturday.

Beginning this (Monday) morning, Region 6 in Illinois is the latest region to see enhanced COVID-19 closure orders take effect. Restaurants and bars in Region 6, which includes Ford, Iroquois, Vermilion and Champaign counties, are now banned from allowing indoor dining. Businesses must also adhere to 25% capacity limits.
