A veteran administrator is leaving the Unit Nine school system. Glenn Raymond School Principal James Bunting tendered his resignation. The Unit Nine School Board approved the resignation (Tuesday). Bunting has accepted a Superintendent position in Joe Davies County at Galena, IL. The Superintendent’s job is the Stockton Community School District #206. Bunting joined the Unit Nine District as a Math teacher at the GRS. Earning his administrative certification, he became GRS Principal before serving a stint as the district superintendent before returning to the GRS principal’s post. Bunting’s resignation is effective June 30.
