A former St. Anne High School teacher was sentenced (Tuesday) to six months in the Kankakee County jail and 30 months probation for grooming. The 2017 case involved a male student.

36-year-old Alaina Allsteadt pleaded guilty in March. She was a teacher at St. Anne from 2013 thru 2017. She resigned her position. It was Bourbonnais Police that investigated after video and messages were found on the student’s electronic device. The information was turned over to investigators by a family member of the student.
