A former Dwight Public School teacher was sentenced on a misdemeanor sex charge in Livingston County. 34-year-old Maleah Jo White of Dwight was found guilty of sexual exploitation of a child. She was sentenced to 2-years probation and 30 days in the Livingston County Jail. She was also ordered to community service. She was also ordered to register as a sex offender.

White was employed at the Dwight Public School District as a teacher and coach from September 2009 until August of 2019.
