Ford County public health officials added another death to its totals for COVID-19 Tuesday. The county now has four persons who have died of the coronavirus. The death was the county’s second in a week linked to a long-term care outbreak. Officials report the fourth fatality was a man in his 80s linked to a COVID outbreak at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton. Ford County added four new cases. The county’s total list is now 120 cases.

Iroquois County added four new cases Tuesday. There are now 319 confirmed cases. Kankakee County recorded 63 new cases over the weekend. There are now 2,483 total cases on record. Vermilon County reports 11 new positive cases while Champaign County had 33 new cases.
