Foodmobile provides help toward food insecurity

The Eastern Illinois Foodbank is making appearances in several communities to combat area families facing food insecurity. The Foodmobile makes stops at food pantries to help bring nutritious foods to rural or under-served areas.  Stops are scheduled in Iroquois, Ford, Livingston and Vermilions counties. Recipients of the give-aways are asked to bring boxes or bags to transport their food.  To find locations for the Foodmobile visit www.eifoodbank.org/help/mobile.html

The distributions are part of the Foodmobile Program, a system of mobile food pantries to help provide a beneficial food source for rural or underserved areas.
