A 51-year-old Braidwood man killed in a house fire (Wednesday) is now identified as Edward Emery. The Will County Coroner’s Office was waiting on autopsy results. Emery was pulled from the house he lived in by fire crews, but later died at a hospital. The fire happened about 2 pm in the 400-block of Anndon Drive in Braidwood.

The Braidwood Police Department along with the Illinois State Fire Marshall are handing the investigation.
