A Danville man died in a one-vehicle crash near Woodland in Iroquois County last night. The victim’s been identified as 39-year-old Marlon Hughes. It appeared his eastbound car left 1400-N Road and hit a tree, west of Woodland. The driver was pronounced dead at Iroquois Memorial Hospital.

Emergency responders answering the call, about 9:30, included Woodland and Watseka Fire, Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police and the Coroner’s Office.
