It is going to be a cold and snowy winter in Illinois according to the 2021 version of the Farmer’s Almanac.The publication is calling it the “Winter of the Great Divide,” calling for cold and snowy in the north, drought in the southwest, and crazy weather in between.The Managing editor (Sandi Duncan) says Illinois is included in the cold and snowy area. As for the accuracy of the almanac’s predictions, Duncan says they are between 80 to 85 percent accurate.
