Election Day 2020

It’s 2020 Election Day ! Voters get their say after months of political rhetoric.

President Donald Trump and former V-P Joe Biden spent the last weekend and yesterday (Mon) getting in their final say. And a record number of voters have already voted thru the Early-Vote and Mail-In process. The polls are open today from 6 am ‘til 7 pm. If you’re voting in-person, practice social distancing and WEAR YOUR MASK.

Iroquois County Clerk Breein Suver says judges will make sure polling places and clean and sanitized…. Kankakee County Clerk Dan Hendrickson said 23,000 plus voters had already cast ballots (Sunday). That’s one-third of the county registered voters. And the local races just may be affected by mail-in ballots. Some 2,400 of the mail-in variety ballots have not yet been returned, but if they’re in the mail by today (Tues) they would still be counted…. If received by November 17. That could be a game-changer with some local contests.
