The discovery of a female body in rural Newton County (Wednesday) is under investigation.  Sheriff's Police report a highway department employee mowing roadside ditches in Lincoln Township made the discovery on County Road 600 E near State Road 10.  Jasper County Sheriff's Police, Indiana State Police,the County Coroner and Prosecutor's Office have all joined in the investigation.  Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact authorities.
