The total of coronavirus cases in Champaign County now sits at 890. That’s due to a 84-case increase between June 25 and Tuesday, July 1.

IROQUOIS COUNTY Public health reports three additional cases of the COVID-19. Three females were confirmed Tuesday … one in her 30’s, another in her 20’s and one in her 60’s.

FORD COUNTY Public Health now has 33 confirmed cases of the virus. One new case was added Tuesday, a female in her 40’s.

KANKAKEE COUNTY Public Health reported nine new cases Tuesday for a total of 1367. There’s no additional deaths in any of the counties locally.Illinois Public Health officials reported 828 new confirmed cases Tuesday, including 30 additional deaths.
