Work on the Canadian National (CN) Railroad Bridge on West River Street in Kankakee is scheduled to begin Monday morning, June 15. The work is expected to continue 2-3 weeks depending on the weather. A posted detour, with signage, will direct motorists.

The West River Street segment from East to West Avenue will be closed on the weekdays starting June 15th, but open for traffic on weekends for the duration of the project.
