The Annual Lighted Christmas Parade in Watseka is now canceled. The Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce made the difficult decision (Tuesday) to canel the event that was scheduled for Friday, November 27. Safety concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic is the reason for the cancellation.  The hope is for the event to be back in 2021.

Several other holiday parades, to kickoff the Christmas season, are also canceled.  Included are parades in Milford, Paxton, Gibson City.
