A 35-year-old man was injured and airlifted to Christ Advocate Hospital in Oak Lawn after his SUV ran under a semi-trailer on U.S. 41 in Newton County, IN.  The unidentified man had to be extricated from the wreckage. Newton County Sheriff's Police investigated the accident at 2 pm Tuesday near County Road 400 N.  Police report the semi driver, from Francesville IN was signaling to turn left onto the CR 400.  The trailing SUV driver, also northbound, rear-ended the smi trailer and became lodged underneath. The extent of the driver's injuries wasn't known.  The semi driver was not injured.
