A traffic crash at Route 17 and Lowe Road east of Kankakee Saturday afternoon took the life of a 75-year-old Bourbonnais woman. The Kankakee County Coroner’s office says it was just after one Saturday afternoon when the car in which Caryle A.See was a passenger, pulled from Lowe Road and into the path of a car on Route 17. See was taken to the hospital where she died of her injuries. The driver of the car See was a passenger in was cited by Illinois State Police for failing to yield. The other driver, from Bourbonnais, was also injured.
