Three people died in two weekend crashes in Livingston County. An Odell man died about 9 pm Friday following a motorcycle crash near Pontiac. Livingston County Chief Deputy Coroner Steven Zeller reported 54-year-old Scott N. Lightbody was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash on Old Route 66. Zeller said Lightbody’s motorcycle left the road and hit a culvert.  Autopsy results are pending, and the crash remains under investigation.

The second crash occurred about 5 am Saturday morning and involved a semitrailer truck and an SUV in the northbound lane on Interstate 55, north of Pontiac. The Coroner's Office identified the victims killed as 28-year-old Devonte Moss and 26-year-old Jarvis Anderson, both of Chicago. The victims were in the SUV that collided with thye semi at a construction merge.
