One man is dead and a juvenile is facing charges after a shooting Monday night in Kankakee County. Sheriff’s Police report the shooting killed an Essex Township man. Details were sketchy. An investigation continues.
A press release from the sheriff’s department states deputies were dispatched to a home at 17,000 W Road for a welfare check. There, police found the body of 44-year-old Ryan Singler. He was the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. The juvenile is in custody.
