IMH offers health screenings to public

Iroquois Memorial Hospital welcomes the public to take advantage of health screenings next week. Quarterly health screenings will be offered in the Main Lobby at IMH Tuesday, May 14 from 7:30 ‘til 10:30 am.

In addition to the usual screenings, FREE Hemoglobin A1c Screenings for known Diabetes are included. The AQ1c is a specialized blood test recommended for those with Diabetes or those newly diagnosed.

This a $99 value. Fifty (50) tests can be provided free of charge during the health screenings. This is made possible thru grant funds received by the Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department, thru the Division of Chronic Disease Prevention & Control.

Other Free screenings offered Tuesday will include Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar / Glucose, Vision Screening and Pulse Oxygen Level.
