Flood Warnings continue; emergency management monitors water levels

The National Weather Service is closely watching the area’s river levels with flooding issues a concern statewide. Governor Pat Quinn Thursday issued a state of emergency to provide local governments with needed assistance.

The declaration makes personnel and equipment available, where needed.

The Iroquois County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA) is monitoring the Iroquois River and Sugar Creek.
