SHELDON --  A 36-year-old Watseka man was critically injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday in Sheldon Township.  Brent McTaggart, a teacher and coach at Watseka High School, was transported to Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, then air-lifted to Carle Hospital in Urbana.

He remained in critical condition Sunday night.

Iroquois County Sheriff's Police report McTaggart's vehicle hit a bridge and overturned landing in a field.

The accident happened on County Road 1400 N near 2820 E.  The accident remained under investigation.
