Former Herscher Bank Exec in more trouble

There’s more legal problems for a former Herscher bank executive. 42-year-old David Rabideau (Rab-i-due) of Clifton is charged with filing a false income tax return. The charges came to light in U.S. Federal Court in Urbana.

Rabideau was already facing federal charges for allegedly taking a $75,000 kick-back in connection with a real estate loan. The Urbana Court records state Rabideau failed to report $50,000 on his 2006 taxes and $120,000 on his 2007 taxes.

Rabideau is a former loan officer and Vice-President of the State Bank of Herscher.
