Incumbent Adams re-elected Bradley mayor

Bradley Mayor Bruce Adams claimed victory at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday when he had 45 percent of the vote in the three-way contest.

With 11 of 13 precincts reporting, the Democrat was more than 100 votes ahead of Progressive-Citizens candidate Mike Watson and was well ahead of independent candidate and former village police chief Don Kufner.

Adams said "We stayed positive and got the word out.”
