Teens injured in Iroquois County rollover

Five teenagers, including a 16-year-old driver were injured Monday evening in a single-vehicle rollover accident.

Iroquois County Sheriff's Police investigated at 2100 E and 2100 N Road.

The injured were taken to Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.  Two were air-lifted to Carle Hospital in Urbana for treatment of injuries.

The 16-year-old driver was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed.  Sher was also ticketed for Violation of Illinois' Restricted Driving Permit, that's the Graduated Driver Law limiting the number of passengers to one for a young driver.

IMH and Martinton Ambulance and Watseka Fire responded to the call.
