Iroquois County Grand Jury Indictments

A Stalking charge led to other charges against an Ashkum man and then an indictment. The Iroquois County grand jury indicted 55-year-old David Brown for the Stalking offense, plus Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, Aggravated Fleeing & Attempted Fleeing & Alluding, and Violation of an Order of Protection.

During his arrest for a repeated violation of an Order of Protection, Brown is reported to have accelerated his pick-up truck with a deputy sheriff hanging from the driver’s side door. The deputy suffered a knee injury.

Brown was among nine defendants indicted by the grand jury.

Also indicted was 35-year-old Tunis Clyden of Milford for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. The defendant committed a sexual act with a victim under the age of 17. Clyden was under investigation by the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department.

18-year-old Lindsey Weber of Paxton faces indictment for Criminal Damage to Property, That case was investigated by Sheriff’s police. The case was investigated for damage done to a residence in Loda.
