No injury was reported, but two suspects are in jail after an armed robbery in Kankakee yesterday.

Kankakee Police report officers were dispatched just before 3 pm to a business location in the 1000-block of E. Court Street. Two black males were seen leaving a sore and they fled north thru an alley.

Police apprehended Kenneth Washington Jr. and then chased down Matthew Martin. Both men listed addresses in Chicago. They’re jailed on charges of Armed Robbery, Aggravated battery, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, No FOID card, and Resisting Arrest.
