ASHKUM --  A Bourbonnais woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Iroquois County.  It happened late last month on Route 45 at County Road 3100.

25-year-old Lateeka Davidson was southbound on Route 45/52 just after 2 in the morning on July 29th.

Illinois State Police report the car she was driving swerved into the northbound lane, colliding with a northbound pick-up truck driven by 28-year-old Arellano Mancilla of Bolingbrook.  Police report Mancilla tried to avoid the oncoming Davidson car.

Riverside Ambulance responded to the scene, along with State Police.  Davidson was taken to Riverside Hospital with serious injuries.  Mancilla and three passengers in the pickup were treated for minor injuries at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital.
