T-Storm Warning Extended 'til 9:15 am -- July 31, 2012

Heavy, welcome rainfall is falling in Iroquois County.  A severe T-Storm Warning remains in effect 'til 9:15 am. 

 

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN KANKAKEE COUNTY IS CANCELLED.

THE LINE OF STORMS WHICH PROMPTED THE WARNING HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE WARNED AREA.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR BENTON. SOUTHWESTERN JASPER.SOUTHERN NEWTON & IROQUOIS COUNTIES UNTIL 915 AM.

AT 811 AM CDT.NATL WEATHER SVC DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL.& DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM CLIFTON TO SHELDON TO FORESMAN. MOVING SE AT 30 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR.
