--Police report one man in custody --
Illinois State Police are investigating the Sunday morning death of a 21-year-old Manteno man. Corey Patterson of Manteno, was stabbed early Sunday morning at a home located at 472 West Station Street in St. Anne. Patterson died in the E.R.at Riverside Medical Center at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday. State Police are working with the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department as well as the St. Anne Police Department in its investigation. One man is in police custody charged in a preliminary count of murder.
