Winter Weather Advisory Cancelled, 4-5 inches Recorded

...Winter Weather Advisory is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Chicago has cancelled the Winter Weather Advisory.

Snowfall has decreased in intensity early this morning...and little to no additional accumulation is expected. Some blowing and drifting snow will continue this morning as winds remain gusty out of the northwest. However...significant restrictions to visibilities are no longer expected.

On average, four to five plus inches of snow was recorded locally in Iroquois County.  The Kankakee-Bradley-Bourbonnais area had reports of over five inches.  Chatsworth recorded four inches. There was three to 3.5 inches of snow in the Bloomington area and three inches at Danville.

Slick roads and blowing and drifting finds some schools closed or operating on delayed schedules.
