Newton County 4-H Building Fundraiser
$229,000 has been raised so far for the construction of the new 4-H Building at the Newton County Fairgrounds. Phase I was complete just in time for the 2017 Fair. This included the 96'x60' structure with a 12' porch, concrete floor, overhead door, and roughed in plumbing for future restrooms and pantry. Plans for Phase II include insulation and interior walls, heating and cooling, and a pantry. Roughly $68,000 is needed for completion of this Phase in time for the 2018 Fair. We are hopeful of raising that amount and are excited to announce a generous matching gift from Kentland business people John and Kathy Cassidy. The Cassidy's have committed to match all donations made from October 15 through December 10, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000! If you have been thinking of supporting the final phase of 4-H Building expenses, NOW IS THE TIME! Your gift will double if you give now! Mail your check made payable to "Newton County Community Foundation" to 4117 S 240 W, Suite 600, Morocco, IN 47963 or visit www.nc4hbuilding.com and click on DONATE. We look forward to you joining the campaign to complete the building that will house 4-H members, projects and activities for generations to come! Your support is greatly appreciated.
