The 38th annual Harvest Daze, sponsored by the Iroquois County Historical Society, will be here before we know it! Harvest Daze will kick off with a Woodworth-style fish 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, with opening ceremonies slated for 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7. The grand finale of Harvest Daze has been the People's Choice Talent Competition and that will start at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The 12th annual Harvest Daze Cruise-In, spearheaded by Jason and Diana Reed, will take place Saturday, Oct. 7. Plus, the Victorian Room bake sale will take place both days in the Victorian Parlor on the main floor of the Old Courthouse Museum, the Scarecrow and Pumpkin contests, food and drinks will be available in the Red Barn with ham and beans offered both days, free entertainment under the big tent, several new and returning vendors, face painting will be available and the ever-popular annual raffle will be conducted.
