Description
The Iroquois County Bar Association will present 'People's Law School' for the 12th year, at the Watseka Public Library. These programs are free but registration is required. The first one is at the KCC College Workforce Development Center in Kakakee. All start at 6:30 PM. These classes are made possible by a grant form the Illinois State Bar Association and the Iroquois County Bar Association. Topics are: May 1 'Issues of Personal Firearm Self Defense' with Sheriff Derek. Held at KCC. May 8: Same topic, held at the library. May 15: 'Living Wills and Powers of Attorney' with attorney Dale Strough. May 22: ' Citizen's Guide to the Constitution' with Assistant State's Attorney Addison Wade.
